VIRTUS ALPHASIMPLEX GLOBAL MACRO ETF (USD) ASGM.US

Virtus AlphaSimplex Global Macro ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund whose objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation with returns that are positive across market cycles, aiming for performance that is less tied to traditional long-only equity swings.

The fund pursues its objective by combining two main "sleeves": a futures sleeve that implements long and short exposures via derivatives (e.g. futures contracts) across global equity, fixed income, currency, and commodity markets; and an equity sleeve that is an actively managed portfolio largely composed of global equity exchange-traded funds to capture return potential from global stock markets.

It also maintains a cash-equivalent component, primarily high-quality, U.S.-dollar-denominated short-term instruments, which serves both for liquidity or derivative margin purposes.

The fund is managed by AlphaSimplex Group, LLC, a quantitative alternatives sub-adviser affiliated with Virtus Investment Partners. It is structured as a series of the Virtus ETF Trust II, registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, and the shares are listed and traded on NYSE Arca.
