The Invesco BulletShares 2036 Municipal Bond ETF seeks to track the performance of the Invesco BulletShares Municipal Bond 2036 Index, before fees and expenses. That index is designed to represent a held-to-maturity portfolio of U.S. dollar-denominated investment-grade municipal bonds issued by U.S. states, state agencies, territories, possessions or local governments, with maturities (or "effective maturities", accounting for certain callable features) in 2036.
The fund generally invests at least 80 percent of its assets in the municipal securities included in its underlying index. It uses an optimized sampling replication method rather than holding every bond in the index in the exact proportions, allowing greater flexibility while seeking close alignment with the index.
The issuer is Invesco Capital Management LLC, and the index provider is Invesco Indexing LLC, both of which are indirect, wholly owned subsidiaries of Invesco Ltd. The fund is structured as an ETF vehicle within the Invesco Exchange-Traded Self-Indexed Fund Trust, a U.S. open-end management investment company organized under the Investment Company Act of 1940.
