The CI Munro International Growth Equity Fund is an actively managed growth‐equity fund offering exposure primarily to companies located outside of Canada and the United States. Its main objective is to maximize long‐term capital appreciation by investing in growth‐oriented firms that are benefiting from significant structural or thematic changes globally.
The fund is long‐only and seeks to build a concentrated portfolio of companies with strong earnings potential that are underappreciated or mispriced. Its investment process combines top-down thematic analysis and bottom-up stock selection, employing both quantitative and qualitative screens to assess potential upside, valuation multiples, catalysts, and downside risk. No regional, market-capitalization, or sector constraints are imposed and portfolio typically consists of 25 to 40 holdings.
The fund is managed by Munro Partners as sub-advisor, under the sponsor CI Global Asset Management. It is structured as an ETF established under Ontario law, and trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange in two series (Canadian dollar series and U.S.-dollar-quoted / USD-hedged series). The legal vehicle is an exchange traded mutual fund with CI Investments Inc. as manager and trustee.
