FIRST FT VEST NASDAQ-100 DUAL DIRECTIONAL BUFFER ETF (USD) DQSE.US

The FT Vest Nasdaq-100 Dual Directional Buffer ETF ("the Fund") seeks to provide a target-outcome strategy based on the performance of the Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ), which itself tracks the Nasdaq-100 Index® (comprising 100 of the largest non-financial companies listed on Nasdaq, weighted by market capitalization).

The Fund's objective is to deliver either (a) the positive price return of QQQ up to a predetermined upside cap, or (b) the absolute value of a negative return of QQQ up to an inverse performance threshold, over an approximately one-year period (the "Target Outcome Period"). Additionally, if QQQ's losses exceed the inverse threshold, the Fund seeks to provide a fixed buffer (10%) against those losses beyond that threshold. The strategy employs FLEX options to implement this dual-directional and buffered structure.

The Fund is an actively managed exchange-traded fund and a series of First Trust Exchange-Traded Fund VIII (a registered management investment company). Its investment advisor is First Trust Advisors L.P., with portfolio sub-advisor Vest Financial, LLC.
