The benchmark is an investment-grade corporate bond index covering euro-denominated corporate fixed income. It applies ESG exclusions and climate alignment criteria in line with the EU's Paris-Aligned Benchmark (PAB) framework (via Bloomberg & MSCI).

Key features include excluding issuers failing certain ESG and climate risk standards, reducing greenhouse gas emissions intensity relative to a parent index, weighting toward issuers with credible emissions reduction targets, and rebalancing monthly to maintain alignment.

The ETF is a physical UCITS-compliant product domiciled in Ireland, managed by BlackRock Asset Management Ireland Limited, issued under iShares III plc. It uses a sampled replication method rather than full replication, and qualifies under SFDR Article 8 as an ESG-aligned fund.
