Mackenzie US Value ETF is an actively managed US equity fund that seeks long-term capital growth and current income by investing primarily in US companies that management believes are undervalued relative to fundamentals and exhibit strong cash flows and dividend growth potential.
The ETF is sub-advised by Putnam Investments, and combines top-down investment themes with bottom-up fundamental research to identify high-quality US companies with attractive valuations, emphasizing downside risk mitigation and stability.
Its benchmark is the Russell 1000 Value Index, which captures large- and mid-cap US companies that exhibit value characteristics - companies in the Russell 1000 with lower price-to-book ratios, lower expected growth, and lower sales per share historical growth relative to their peers.
