ISHARES MSCI USA SMALL-CAP ETF (USD) MSML.US

The iShares Morningstar Small-Cap ETF is an index-tracking equity fund whose objective is to replicate the performance of U.S. small-capitalization stocks. It aims to provide exposure to companies at the small cap end of the U.S. market, offering a low-cost core building block for investors interested in this market segment.

Its benchmark is the Morningstar US Small Cap Extended Index, which comprises U.S. small-cap stocks. "Small‐capitalization" is defined under Morningstar's methodology as those stocks that fall roughly between the 90th and 99.5th percentiles of market capitalization within the eligible U.S. equity universe. The index uses free-float adjusted market capitalization weighting, applies liquidity screens, and is reconstituted semi-annually with quarterly rebalancing.

The ETF is issued by BlackRock iShares under the iShares trust structure, and trades on the NYSE Arca. It is a physically replicating fund, meaning it holds (or aims to hold) actual securities matching the components of its target index.

Entry
Entry: Not yet
A classic falling-knife setup. Price is below SMA 20 and the moving averages are declining. Early bounces inside downtrends often fade. Wait for price to reclaim SMA 20 and for the slopes to stop falling before considering an entry.

Trend: Trend broken
Trend broken. Two or more consecutive closes below SMA 50 signal that the medium-term trend has flipped. Exiting here is the rule rather than the exception.
