The RBC Target 2032 U.S. Corporate Bond ETF is a fixed income exchange-traded fund managed by RBC Global Asset Management Inc. Its objective is to provide investors with income for a limited period ending on the termination date (about September 30, 2032) by investing primarily in investment-grade fixed-income securities issued in the U.S. market by U.S. and foreign corporations that mature in the same calendar year as the ETF's term.
The fund invests in U.S.-market corporate bonds with investment grade credit quality; selection criteria include credit rating, yield to maturity, issue size, liquidity, and relative price to par. It does not track an index; there is no benchmark specified in the prospectus. The strategy is active in the sense that bonds are chosen based on these criteria rather than indexed replication.
The fund is structured as a trust under the laws of the Province of Ontario, with RBC Global Asset Management Inc. serving as manager, trustee, and portfolio manager. It has two classes of units (CAD and USD) and will terminate on or about September 30, 2032.
