The UBS Core MSCI EMU UCITS ETF is a passive, index-tracking equity fund whose objective is to replicate, before fees, the performance of the MSCI EMU Index (Net Return / Total Return Net depending on share class) or a currency-hedged variant of that index.

The MSCI EMU Index measures the performance of large- and mid-capitalization companies in the euro-area member countries of the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU). It is a free float-adjusted market-capitalization-weighted index covering approximately 85% of that region's investable equity market.

The fund uses full physical replication, meaning it holds, broadly speaking, all (or substantially all) the securities in the index in proportion to index weights. Share classes may be unhedged or hedged (e.g. to USD, CHF, GBP etc.) in some cases.
