VANGUARD USD TREASURY BOND UCITS ETF (DIST., EUR) VDTD.IT

The fund seeks to replicate, in broad terms, the performance of the Bloomberg Global Aggregate US Treasury Float-Adjusted Index through a low-cost, passive investment strategy. It acquires US-government fixed-rate bonds denominated in US dollars, with maturities over one year, typically investment grade, and uses a representative sample of the index's securities to match its capital and income return as closely as practicable.

The asset class is government bonds, specifically US Treasuries, providing exposure to long-duration, fixed income issued by the US government. Because the bonds are floated to reflect issues meeting size and maturity criteria (generally greater than US$300 million in issue size), the Index captures a broad subset of the US Treasury market beyond just those with long maturities.

The vehicle is a UCITS-structured ETF domiciled in Ireland, managed by Vanguard Funds PLC, under the investment team of Vanguard Global Advisers, LLC. The fund holds the bonds physically (rather than synthetically).
