ISHARES WORLD EQUITY HIGH INCOME ACTIVE UCITS ETF (DIST., GBP) WCGH.GB

The iShares World Equity High Income Active UCITS ETF is an actively managed equity fund with a global developed-markets focus. Its objective is to generate income and capital growth while maintaining lower volatility than broad developed-market equity indices. It uses internally developed quantitative models to select dividend-paying large- and mid-capitalization companies in developed markets. To boost income, the strategy overlays derivative positions, notably by selling call options and buying futures on large and mid-cap developed-market equity indices, and periodically resetting expired option positions.

The fund's investment scope includes equities and equity-related instruments of developed-market, large- and mid-cap issuers. In normal market conditions, at least 80% of its assets are invested in equity and equity-related instruments. The derivatives overlay is employed in order to generate additional income and manage volatility, though it implies that upside is partially sacrificed in favour of income generation.

BlackRock's iShares III plc is the provider, domiciled in Ireland, operating under a UCITS regulatory structure. The fund is classified as Article 8 under the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, meaning it promotes certain environmental and/or social characteristics and good governance practices.
