XTRACKERS ESG MSCI WORLD UCITS ETF (USD, XZWD) XZWD.DE

The fund aims to replicate the performance (before fees and expenses) of the MSCI World Low Carbon SRI Selection (or Leaders) Index, a subset of the MSCI World Index. The Index includes large- and mid-capitalisation companies in global developed markets that have relatively high environmental, social and governance (ESG) ratings and relatively low current and potential carbon emissions compared to peer companies.

It operates through a direct/full replication methodology - holding the securities in the Index to closely track its performance. The strategy is rules-based: securities are screened based on ESG and low-carbon criteria and only those meeting the required ESG/carbon metrics are included.

The Index is reviewed on a regular (quarterly) basis. The fund invests primarily in developed-market equities (large- and mid-caps) globally. It is an open-ended exchange-traded fund (ETF), domiciled in Ireland, managed by Xtrackers (a platform of DWS), with a UCITS legal wrapper.
