BMO SPDR Communication Services Select Sector Index ETF seeks to replicate, to the extent possible before fees and expenses, the performance of the Communication Services Select Sector Index. That index provides exposure to U.S. large-capitalization equities in the communications services sector, including industries such as diversified and wireless telecommunication services, media, entertainment, and interactive media and services.

The fund may gain exposure either by investing in securities included in that index in approximately the same proportions or by holding The Communication Services Select Sector SPDR® Fund. The ETF is an equity sector fund, focused geographically on the United States, specifically the communication services sector of the S&P 500.

It aims for broad sector exposure rather than stock-picking within that sector, using a strictly defined index-based approach. This ETF is managed by BMO Asset Management Inc., under the BMO SPDR line of ETFs.

It is an exchange‐traded fund structured to deliver replication of a licensed SPDJI index. The index is a product of S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC, and BMO holds a license to use it for this ETF.
