CI TARGET 2030 INVESTMENT GRADE BOND FUND (CAD) CTMC.CA

CI Target 2030 Investment Grade Bond Fund seeks to generate income over a defined period by investing primarily in a portfolio of investment-grade bonds denominated in Canadian dollars that have an effective maturity in the calendar year 2030. The fund is designed to terminate on or about November 30, 2030 (unless earlier under specific notice), at which point it will distribute its proceeds to unitholders.

The fund will typically allocate at least 60% of its assets to corporate fixed income securities, may invest up to 25% in lower-rated high-yield securities (minimum credit rating BB- by S&P or Ba3 by Moody's at time of purchase), and aims to maintain an average credit rating of no less than A-. It may include foreign-denominated bonds and uses derivatives to manage foreign currency exposure, which is not expected to exceed 10% of net asset value. As bonds approach maturity, the portfolio gradually shifts into government bonds, cash and cash equivalents.

The fund is a fixed income mutual fund series managed by CI Global Asset Management. It is structured to have a target maturity date and follows a mandate that combines bottom-up security selection and top-down macroeconomic analysis to assess issuers, credit quality, and market conditions. It is not an index-tracking fund.
